In compliance with Agriculture Raisonnée et Terra Vitis, (integrated farming) and Terra Vitis specifications, Les Domaines de Provence are committed to taking real steps to protect the environment with a dedicated approach to greening our vineyards and estates.
Sustaining the vine crop, the life of the soil, grass cover, with vines that are 50 to 60 years old, using only organic fertilizer, with weeding done naturally by grazing sheep.
In the vines and in the cellar, we take an “integrated farming” approach to every step of the wine-making process, with traceability of all the work and operations that have been carried out.
Here, horses are used to maintain the forest and the wood chips obtained are used for heating. Preserving the soil and the quality of water by favouring infiltration, while increasing biological diversity (earthworms, insects, songbirds, partridges, etc.) enriches the landscape, the perfect expression of agriculture working in harmony with nature.
